| A Passiflora vitifolia flower in the afternoon, with its stigmas bent down to the level of the anthers (which now have most of their pollen removed as well, by the rubbing off of pollen onto the tops of the heads of hummingbirds visiting during the morning). Note also the exclusionary brush of flower parts that keep bees from getting at the nectar, but which can be easily by passed by the long bill of the hummingbird. | ||
