After waiting a few agonizing seconds, the drop of water (and that behind on the blade) is drawn down the drip tip by both its inclination and capillary action of its narrow sides, and upon hitting the end of the tip, drips off. One less drop of water spread over the leaf blade. See below for more on this problem. |
